On the Intranet WELCOME page there are presently two links. On the left is the link for the product look-up, on the right is the link for the Product FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). Clicking on the Product FAQ link takes you to the search page for the FAQ database. On the left side of the screen are the navigation links: Search FAQs – this link will take you to the search box where you input search terms How do I begin a search? To begin a search, simply type your terms in the search box. You may search on both Enzymatic Therapy or PhytoPharmica product names. For example, typing in the ET product name EchinaFresh will also retrieve answers on the Phyto product EchinaCare. For multiple term searching, use AND, OR, or AND NOT. Additional instructions for searching can be obtained by clicking on the Med Ed Tips for Searching and Microsoft Tips for Searching which can be found under the search box. Examples: What do the red circles on the search result page mean? The red circles (or bulls-eyes) represent a relevancy ranking. The computer judges how closely the answer matches the terms entered in the search box, then assigns the bulls-eyes. The closer the match, the more bulls-eyes appear. The most relevant answers are displayed first. Back Why are there duplicates of the same question and answer? Some answers are available in both ET and Phyto format. Both answers will appear on the search result page. Click on Display the Question to view the complete question and answer. Back How do I print an answer? To print an answer in a format suitable for distributing for customers, click on Print This for A Customer at the top of the answer. Back When should I resubmit a question? If the answer is flagged with a "Please Note: This Question Has Not Been Updated Within the Last 6 Months" it may be resubmitted for a review and possible updating. A question may also be resubmitted if it is not available in the format you need (ET or Phyto). Back How do I submit an original question? If you cannot find an answer to your question after searching the FAQ database, you may submit it as a new question by clicking the Ask Med Ed link on the left side of the screen. On the Ask Med Ed page, select your name from the drop down list in the Submitted By box. Make sure your sales division (ET or Phyto) is correctly selected. In the Question box type as much information as you have regarding your question. Choose the correct priority (Normal or Urgent). If you select Urgent you must tell include a note that explains why the question is to be considered urgent and when the answer is needed (same day or 1-3 days). A question may be labeled Urgent if it involves serious health or legal issues, or if a large sale is contingent on receiving a quick answer. Then click on the Submit button to send in the question. Back What should I do if my name is not on the Submitted By drop down box? If you cannot locate your name, please contact Brian Engum, the Network Coordinator, at bengum@enzy.com, or call (920) 469 4469 x3600. Back How long does it take to receive an answer? The normal time to receive an answer is approximately two weeks. Every answer is researched, reviewed, edited, formatted, and referenced before it is released. We may need to contact one of our vendors or other authorities for further information – which can add to the time needed to prepare a response. Our answers have value because they are researched and documented. We do not merely respond with informal opinions. If an answer is needed quickly, label it Urgent and include the reason why a quick reply is needed in the Notes box. Back What kind of questions does Med Ed answer? Please remember that any answers must comply with federal law. We cannot respond to questions that ask for recommendations or cures for specific disease conditions. If you have questions regarding a specific disease, and the answer is important to you, call us, and we will discuss what the studies show in relation to that illness, and whether or not we can answer it in writing. We also do not generally comment on the effectiveness of any other company’s products, though in some cases, we may contrast our product with theirs. However, we do not want to spend a great deal of time researching our competitor’s products and would rather focus on supplying the scientific validation of our own products. We CAN answer questions on the source of ingredients in our products, interactions with other products or prescription medications (where known), information on research studies utilizing our products, or other questions of this type. Your question may be edited to comply with our guidelines. Back How will I know when my question has been answered? When your answer has been released an automatic notification message is generated and sent to your email address. Back
